Microsoft office 2007 install for windows 8

I type in the product key and it cannot find the information that it is looking for. I then put the original Full Version of Office 97 in the CD reader and it still does not find what it is looking for.

In reply to Rohn's post on December 25, Would I need to plug in a cd drive and install it via the cd rom? I just don't understand, but I need ms office asap as I cannot work without it! I know I can use it online, but that isn't something I can or want to do. I have purchased it and I want to use it!
